Graham Underhill

Graham’s career began in financial services in 1990 working for one of the main providers. During his 20 years tenure, he held a number of administrative roles, before moving into management where he was responsible for a team that supported Account Managers across the South West. For the last 12 years, Graham has worked as a Paraplanner and joined Lampiers over a year ago, where he carries out the necessary background work required to assist Financial Planners to create, implement, & review clients’ financial plans. Outside of work, Graham is a keen sports fan, mainly football, where in his younger days he played at a decent level. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Roxanne Rostam-Shirazi

Roxanne joined Lampiers in January 2020 and with 14 years of financial services experience, she is considered to be a key member of the team. Having achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning she always provides outstanding financial planning support to both of the Lampiers Directors, Peter and Tim. Outside of work, she enjoys spending lots of time with her husband and two young boys, going to theme parks across the UK and going on long walks in North Devon and the Forest of Dean.

Kerry-Ann Chidgey

Kerry, although one of the newest members of the Lampiers client services team, is hugely experienced has 23 years industry experience working in the product provider sector as well as supporting advisers and clients in the corporate and personal advice areas. Outside of work, you can find Kerry outdoors running or walking with her young family and four-legged friend.

Chris Ledbury

Chris has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years and prior to joining Lampiers worked for another leading financial advice company. Chris joined Lampiers at the start of the year and brings his experience in the industry to his paraplanning/adviser support role. Outside of work, Chris plays cricket for a local team, captaining the 2nd team and is also involved in serving on the committee and coaching the junior section. He has ensured the cricket bug has rubbed off on his son who also plays for the club.

Marie Small

Marie has immense experience having been in the Financial Services industry for 27 years. She is a cornerstone of the Lampiers team and has spent the last 23 years supporting the Senior Directors where she has provided unerring support to look after both private and corporate clients. She also offers important help to the rest of the Lampiers team by delivering training for new staff, being a sounding board for questions and queries, and excels at being the coordinator everything social at Lampiers. Marie has a passion for fitness. If she's not weight training or doing a hiit class, she's walking everywhere. When she hasn't got a dumbbell in her hands, she's a film fanatic, with her love of all genres of films, she'll be watching the latest releases in the cinema.

Laura Smart

Laura joined the Lampiers team in November 2023. After a six year career break to raise her young children, she has come onboard to provide support to our mortgage adviser and clients. Laura has over 20 years experience in the Financial Services industry in roles supporting both customers and senior managers. Alongside work, Laura is an Infant Feeding Peer Supporter for Barnardo's charity. 

She enjoys spending time with her family, walking and reading a good thriller book.

Julie Harrison

Julie works in Lampier’s Adviser Support Team and has a wealth of experience in the Financial Advice industry having worked alongside Financial Advisers across both the Corporate and Personal sectors for over 27 years. She lives with her husband and two sons (hopefully just her husband at some stage) and enjoys eating out and socialising. She also spends a lot of her time watching football and cricket on TV and football live, as her son plays at a good level. She is currently working on a plan to hide the TV remote control!

Mike Gough

Although the oldest, Mike is the newest member of the Lampiers management team having merged his own practice into the current business. Prior to setting up his own advice practice Mike spent 16 years as a board director within a large AIM listed Financial Services Intermediary business.

Mike has been an IFA since 1996, is a Chartered Financial Planner and also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Mike advises a wide range of clients (mainly individuals) who tend to be either side of retirement. He is also a seasoned presenter and has for many years been a Financial Education specialist presenting to employees on the subjects of Retirement Planning and General Financial Planning, empowering individuals to take control of their own finances.

Mike has a leadership role within Lampiers and naturally takes a keen interest in the Marketing and promotional aspects of the business.

Outside of work, Mike has always been a keen sportsman (any shaped ball), has an interest in History (any period) and holds a qualification in Wines & Spirits (any drink).

Andy Chidgey

Andy is our Head of Operations. He comes with a wealth of experience having spent 35 years in the Financial Services Sector both in the UK and Australia. He has worked in banking, insurance and the financial advice areas of the industry and has fulfilled roles right across the spectrum from his early days doing the rems at NatWest, to more recently (the last 20 years) being Operations Executive and Operations Director for his previous companies. Andy loves all sport, with a special passion for cricket, rugby and his new love golf. He coaches both local cricket and rugby at junior level and loves nothing more than a game of golf with his mates. He lives locally with his wife and 4 children. Andy can often be found with his chauffeur’s hat on delivering his children (and quite a few other kids) to their various sporting events across Bristol and the UK.

Val Shuker-Patel

Val is a diligent and focused financial services compliance professional with deep seated principals of TCF and a sound understanding of regulatory rules and requirements. With over thirty years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry at all levels, Val worked her way up from an administrative role to Director of Compliance at a large National firm of IFA’s. Having enjoyed a short career break, Val has recently joined Lampiers to support the compliance function in a quality control role enjoying the opportunity to use her keen eye for detail reviewing files. Being a keen cook and all-round foodie Val is always welcome at the office when she’s done some baking!
